PSITTACOSAURUS
This project explored the camouflage of Psittacosaurus, a ceratopsian dinosaur that lived in Asia during the Cretaceous Period. Its appearance is based on specimen SMF R 4970, a Psittacosaurus of an unnamed species that lived in the forests of China’s Yixian Formation 125 million years ago. I did a lot of research into the Yixian Formation, with a particular emphasis on its plant life.
